WISH 99.7 / 1320 WJAS / Money Talk 1360 WMNY - Part-time "Roadie"
Renda Broadcasting Corporation's three Pittsburgh stations, WISH 99.7, 1320 WJAS, and Money Talk 1360 WMNY, are looking for qualified part-time applicants to work on its "Roadies Crew". Applicants can expect to work as Remote Broadcast Set-up Technicians for on-site broadcasts and appearances, and drive, operate and assist in the operation of WISH 99.7's Street Treat Patrol project; the station's ice cream and snack delivery vehicle. The position will include driving the ice cream truck to events, scheduled by the Promotions Department, keeping track of inventory, and picking up fresh stock and supplies. This position pays $7.50 per hour. The Street Treat Patrol operates seasonally (May - October), but there are year-round opportunities. Applicants must be friendly, upbeat, able to communicate well with children and families, and be a safe and competent licensed and insured driver. Internship Position
Renda Broadcasting Corporation's three Pittsburgh radio stations, WISH 99.7, 1320 WJAS, and Money Talk 1360 WMNY, invite college students to apply for the position of College Intern. The stations' Summer Internship Program runs from Memorial Day through August 15th, however, we also welcome applications for both Fall and Spring Semester Internships.
Applicants must be actively enrolled in a four-year college and must be receiving grade credit from their school in exchange for their service as an Intern. All Internship positions are unpaid. Interns will work under the auspices of the Marketing and Promotions Department at the stations, and will be assist with events, promotions, appearances, in-office duties, and will work on the stations' external projects including the WISH 99.7 Street Treat Patrol project. Applicants must be friendly, upbeat, able to communicate well with children and families, and be a safe and competent licensed and insured driver. Applicants must agree to adhere to the stations' dress code and all specified rules, and must maintain communications and follow the instructions given them by their college advisers so as to receive proper grade credit for their service to the stations.
